PLDT
bills can now be paid
via the Internet
|
|
|
Starting
May 1, PLDT corporate customers can view and pay their phone
bills via the Internet or their Smart GSM mobile phones.
|
| This new
service, called "PLDT @ctive Bill," offers PLDT subscribers
a more convenient and secured means of monitoring and paying
their bills. |
| "Initially,
this service is aimed at addressing the relatively more complex
requirements of corporate customers," said Nerissa S. Ramos,
assistant vice president for business solutions product center.
|
| A value-added
service offered at no extra cost, the PLDT @ctive Bill service
will automatically notify enrolled customers via the Internet
when the bill is already available and then lets them download
their bills and print these in various formats such as Word,
Excel and HTML. |
|
At that point, the customer can exercise his option of paying
either via the Internet or on his Smart GSM phone.
|
| To enroll,
a customer has to visit the PLDT @ctiveBill website (http://billing.pldt.com.ph)
and provide basic information such as name, e-mail address,
PLDT telephone account name (i.e. subcriber's name), and account
number. |
| After his
application is verified and validated, the customer will be
notified via e-mail. A confirmation letter (CL) will then be
sent/mailed within 15 days soliciting the approval and signatures
of the subscriber on record or his authorized representative
and the registrant. |
|
As
soon as the CL is returned to PLDT, the PLDT @ctiveBill sends
notification, whether approved or declined. The mechanics
of the payment will depend on which option the customer elects
to use.
